History

             Funnel cakes were originated over 200 years ago by the Pennsylvania Dutch. They were enjoyed at home as well as at social events. Funnel cakes are a popular item not only for breakfast, but as a mid-day or late evening snack. Flossie’s began it’s journey to recreate the Pennsylvania favorite in 1978 and has pleased the public with this classic ever since.

Introduction

             After opening our first few Flossie's shops in the early years of business, the customer began to demand a form of carry home mix. Our tamper resistant packaging is colorful and portrays a nostalgic look. Our product comes in a 24 ounce and a 36 ounce canister, we also offer an apple cinnamon flavor in the 24 ounce canister.                                                                                               

            Flossie’s is the only company in the industry to offer the hardware kit needed to make funnel cakes. This kit includes one six-inch aluminum ring, and one eight ounce aluminum funnel. This program ensures the customer a perfect cake every time and immediately doubled the sales of the carry home mix.
